Visitor's description

Performance III literally dragged me inside of the mysterious and carefully arranged happening. I was made to seat behind the row of chairs and observe a numinous scene of girl singing straight into the eyes of a man. The atmosphere was enhanced by the minimal, but yet powerful use of light- darkness and my position made me feel the excitement and curiosity of a voyeur. When I took the place of the man to whom the girl sung, my emotions raised significantly- long sequence of eye contact with the performer, small distance between us and intimate atmosphere made me feel a little bit uncomfortable in the very beginning. After few seconds I started feeling enormous excitation - the aura of the girl surrounded me as if she was a divine figure, light and smoke created stunning spectacle of shapes and colors floating in the air. I was amazed by the total experience and profound atmosphere being created by the makers of Performance III, especially because the use of means was very minimalistic. I left the room feeling the relief that you usually feel after experiencing very strong emotions. Cannot really describe the exact emotion. <...>

<...>The first the moment when I sat behind the chairs I was observing someone but than I became the same person so I could see myself from my own position but also from the side because I was just observing that guy before me. And if the part in which I was hiding behind the chairs would not be there than I would experience it completely differently if one would just put me there in front of the singer straight away.<....>
